TechSpy ("we", "us", or "our") operates techspy.pro. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.
Account data: When you register, we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
Usage data: We log lookup counts and export activity to enforce plan limits and improve the service.
Crawled data: We collect publicly available information from websites — technology stack signals, contact information visible on public pages (email addresses, social media links, phone numbers), and metadata. This is the same information any visitor to those websites could observe.
Log data: Server logs may include your IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and debugging purposes. Logs are retained for 30 days.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
TechSpy indexes publicly available business data from websites. If you are a website operator and wish to have your site's data removed from our index, please contact us at privacy@techspy.pro with your domain name. We will process removal requests within 14 business days.
We use a single secure, httponly cookie (ts_token) to maintain your login session. This cookie is required for authentication and expires after 30 days. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
We use the following third-party services:
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing privacy@techspy.pro.
We use industry-standard practices: bcrypt password hashing, HTTPS-only connections, httponly cookies, and regular security updates. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at privacy@techspy.pro to exercise these rights.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
